The Transparency Act
The Transparency Act entered into force on 1 July 2022, and aims to promote companies' respect for basic human rights and decent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and services.
As a supplier of seafood to a growing market, owners of traditional businesses, and employer of committed employees, this entails a great responsibility. At Insula, we are concerned with building our corporate culture based on shared ethical principles that ensure good working conditions and development for our employees, safe HSE, sound operation and production. We also work to fulfill our obligations towards our supply chain to safeguard good business ethics, human rights and decent working conditions.
To define and clarify this, we have defined internal and external ethical guidelines.
Annual due diligence assessments
In accordance with Section 4 of the Transparency Act, we carry out regular due diligence assessments in our companies. The reports can be found here. (PDF, 528KB)
