Sigvald Rist was GM in Insula's subsidiary Lofotprodukt AS from its establishment in 1994 until the establishemt of Insula in 2015. Prior to this, he was deputy GM at Dahl Nusfjord settefiskanlegg AS (aquaculture company).
He was a member of Sjømatbedriftenes fiskematutvalg (Norwegian processed seafood council) in 2010-2014.
Sigvald holds a Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture from Nord University and management education through Northern-Norwegian Leadership Development program.
Børre Opsahl most recently came from the position of CFO in Gresvig (2019-2020). Prior to that, he held similar positions in Nille AS (2014-2019), Plantasjen AS (2008-2013), ICA Norway (2006-2008) and Kavli (2005-2006), as well as various positions within finance and business development in Orkla (1993-2002).
Børre is a board member of CB Nordisk Holding AS.
Børre holds an MBA from IMD Business School in Switzerland and a Master´s degree in Economics, Management and Finance from Bodø Graduate School of Business.
Inger Johanne Solhaug comes from the position of Partner in the consulting company XO Executive Advisors (2014-2019). Prior to that, she has been CEO of Nidar (2008-2013), Executive Vice President and member of Orkla´s Group Management (2005-2008), Category Director of Orkla Foods (2000-2005) and Marketing Manager in Lilleborg (1995-1999). She has also led Orkla´s Commercial Excellence unit focusing on branding, innovation and sales across Orkla´s companies (2005-2008).
Inger Johanne has been a board member of Insula (2014 – December 2019), and she is also member of the boards of Navamedic ASA (2019-), MakeupMekka (2019-) and Oslo Business Region (2018-).
Inger Johanne is a Graduate Economist from the Norwegian School of Economics.
Kristel Pedersen has been Head of Group HR in Insula AS (2017-2020), Project manager and HR Consultant for Insula's subsidiary Lofotprodukt AS (2011-2017). Prior to that, she was Commercial Manager for Norway at World Expo Shanghai (2009-2010) and Management Consultant Talent and Organizational Performance in Accenture ASA (2007-2009).
Kristel is a board member of Norwegian Seafood Association (2020-).
Kristel holds a Master's degree in International Business and Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Marine/Fisheries Management from Nord University and Beijing Institute of Technology.
Benjamin Ajo is MD for Insula's subsidiary Marenor AB. Prior to this he was MD in Bröderna Hanssons in Gothenburg (2007-2012).
He has also been a member of the board of Fiskbranschens riksförbund (Seafood Council Sweden) since 2012.
Benjamin holds an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School, a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Gothenburg, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Blekinge Institute of Technology.
Jesper Kold Sørensen is CEO for Amanda Seafoods since 2008. Before this, he worked in the Danish Grocery market in Dansk supermarked (Salling Group) and COOP.
Jesper is a board member of MLDK (Branded Suppliers) and DSA (Danish Seafood Association).
Jesper holds an Executive MBA from Henley Business School in London and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Aarhus Business University, where he is also educated as a Marketing Economist.
Jean Gallen holds 30 years of experience from sales and marketing within FMCG. He has been Deputy Managing Director in Ab Chipster Food Oy (2014-2018), Marketing Director Nordic in Chiquita Banana Company (1994-1998) and Managing Director in J. Walter Thompson Ltd (2005-2012).
Jean Gallen holds a Diploma in Business Administration, with a focus on marketing and accounting, from the Swedish Trade Administration (Svenska Handelsäroverket).
Morten Hyldborg Jensen has worked a number of years in the whitefish industry, including as Head of Team Frozen Whitefish i Lerøy Seafood ASA (2017-2018), Sales and Marketing Director Primary Processing Norway Seafood AS (2010-2017), Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing Aker Seafoods AS (2005-2010), Director Sales and Marketing Aker Seafoods AS (2002-2005) and Vice President Sales and Marketing Stolt Sea Farm AS (1998-2002).
He has also held positions in board and committees at Norwegian Center of Expertice, Aquaculture 2008-2010), Marine Stewardship Council (20082017), Norwegian Seafood Council (2011-2017) and Norwegian Seafood Federation (2011-).
Morten is a Graduate academy economist specializing in International marketing and Business administration from the Trade Academy in Vejle, Fredericia and Kolding.
Øystein Rist has been Regional sales Manager (2003-2007) and National Sales Manager (2008-2018) in Insula's subsidiary Lofotprodukt AS.
Øystein has a Master´s degree in Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nordland, and management education through Northern-Norwegian Leadership Development program.
